I'm Jason, the creative force behind Scooby Snaps, the UK's premier gig,
concert and live music photography specialists. As a musician myself,
I understand that publicity is vital for any working entertainer, and
I've made it my mission in life to promote live music of all genre's and
levels, all over the country. That's where Scooby Snaps comes in.Scooby Snaps are currently working towards creating a comprehensive photographic documentary of the north east regions live music scene, featuring images taken before, during and after gigs with accompanying reviews of both the performers and the hosting venue. All this, free of charge.
Scooby Snaps attends gigs and venues at random, so if you're a band or a hosting venue with a special event taking place, there's no guarantee that Scooby Snaps will be there at the right time to capture the action. However, if your event is important you can pre-book Scooby Snaps by simply sending an email, and I'll make every effort to ensure your event gets the publicity it so rightly deserves.
If you would like larger high resolution images of any particular gig, band, performer or venue featured on this website, they can be purchased from Scooby Snaps individually for only £3, or as a full set per event on CDRom for the surprisingly reasonable price of only £15.
Similarly, if you were at one of the gigs reviewed here on Scooby Snaps, there's a very good chance we've got a photo of you enjoying the entertainment in our Out & About section, where you can order a full sized digital copy, emailed directly to your inbox for only £3.
Lastly, if you are a band or performer, and would like to book a photographer for a publicity photoshoot, you can hire Scooby Snaps for the day and it won't break the bank. Please email for more information and a price.
